Kimball Avenue Drug Store, 2005

Mr. Troy Sundt was kind enough to send me these photos of Kimball Avenue Drugs in 2005. The place is virtually unchaged since the 1968 photos were taken. The KIMBALL AVE DRUGS neon is still in the window over the door. It whould would have been interesting to find out if the shelter supplies were still in the basement. As of this writing in 2014 I belive this location is owned by Greenwood Drug Inc.

Shelter sign still in place in 2005. Looks like the capacity is 100 on the sign even though the captions above say stocked for 131 people for two weeks. I guess they could have stocked extra?
