The Victoreen Instrument Company Model 592B
This gamma survey meter has a range of 0 - 1000 mR/Hr over 3 scales.
Controls include Off / Zero Adjust / x100 / x 10 / x1 scale select positions, and a zero adjust knob.
Dimensions are:  10" Long  x  4¾" Wide  x  6½" Tall including handle.
The case and top are made of aluminum, and are secured by two quarter-turn screws.

Inside View of Bottom
This unit uses 6 - 22½ volt batteries and 3 mercury cells. The 6 22½ volt batteries go under the plate
on the bottom right, one mercury cell goes to the left and two more go between the battery box and the
ion chamber. The mercury cells are held down with a spring clip between the two posts at each location.

Calibration pots are located at each side of the ion chamber. x1 scale and zero pots are on the left side,
x10 scale and x100 scale pots are on the right side.
