Tactical Radiation Dosimeter Set
NSN 6665-12-123-0065

  This set is enclosed in a wood and metal case with a hinged lid.
Case size: Approx. 7½" x 6" x 5¾". Painted Olive Drab.
 Enclosed are 6 self indicating dosimeters which read from 0-50 cGy,
6 self indicating dosimeters which read from 0-500 cGy and a charger.


 
Carry case with dosimeters and charger stored, and view of top.
Box is made of 5/8" plywood, all edges and corners are covered with steel.
Black foam rubber piece on top keeps the dosimeters from rattling.
A rubber gasket is attached to the lid, along with a contents tag written in german.
The charger rests on 1/8" felt padding.



Orange band dosimeter reads 0 - 50 centigrays.

The dosimeters have a line on them to line up in the charger. Lined up with the single mark
on the top of the charger to read only, line up with the two marks to read or charge.



Dosimeter Charger

Control panel & top view of charger. The black knob adjusts the zero, the push button underneath
turns the built in light on / off. There is also a mirror built in to use if there is available light.

Uses 2 "D" size 1½ volt batteries.
Batteries go under the screw cap on the top of the charger. The string holds the plug
that covers the opening for the dosimeter.
