The CD V-457 measures beta & gamma radiation up to 15,000 counts per minute.
It uses a Geiger-Mueller tube and indicates the presence of radioactivity by
means
of the panel meter, loudspeaker and flashing neon bulb.
Operates on 100 -120 Volts AC 50 - 60 Cycles (Hertz to you youngsters). This unit comes in a case with sheilding barriers and other items for classroom
use.
